Regardless of who wins the 2024 election, the United States will have a new President in 2025. That President will inevitably drive his/her own agenda forward, which will inevitably impact the direction of the relevant regulatory bodies that employers deal with daily – e.g., EEOC, NLRB, DOL/WHD, etc. This session will focus on anticipated changes with the incoming administration and the anticipated regulatory landscape in 2025 and beyond.

Fred Bissinger is a partner with Ford Harrison and concentrates his legal practice on the representation of employers in workplace law disputes. His practice focuses on coaching, counseling, and advising clients on difficult employee issues, especially those involving complicated disability scenarios, including mental health and addiction issues, as well as a broad spectrum of problematic behavioral issues, terminations, reductions-in-force, and job elimination scenarios.

Frank Day has a national practice, and his clients range from Fortune 500 companies to local businesses. He has successfully represented clients in essentially every type of labor and employment matter. He has extensive experience with the FLSA, Title VII, the ADA, FMLA, ADEA, NLRA, and various other federal and state statutes. Frank is a seasoned litigator, who has won many cases on summary judgment and at trial. Frank frequently serves as a faculty member at employment law seminars, and he has published articles in many publications including the ABA Employment Law Newsletter, the Tennessee Bar Journal, and the University of Memphis Law Review. He graduated from the University of Memphis School of Law with honors where he also received special recognition for his performance in moot court and mock trial competitions.

Marc Sugerman routinely handles labor arbitrations, collective bargaining negotiations, and impasse proceedings on behalf of his clients. He also represents clients in traditional labor litigation matters before the Florida Public Employees Relations Commission and the National Labor Relations Board. Although traditional labor is Marc's primary focus, he also maintains a robust trial practice, litigating a variety of employment disputes in state and federal court, including civil rights and wage/hour cases. Marc has also appeared on behalf of clients in administrative proceedings such as Department of Labor audits, civil service hearings, and administrative disciplinary hearings, and has appeared before the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission and the Florida Commission on Human Relations.
